KTCK002 - 03 Days Maasai Mara

The Masai Mara is the most famous nature reserve in Kenya, not only because of its abundance of wildlife including the 'Big Five' but also because of the Maasai tribe, which live alongside the wildlife. When most people visit Kenya they ensure they get time to visit this astounding area. Its also famous its annual wildebeest migration from Serengeti National Park along with their predators between July and September. This safari gives you the opportunity to see much game. You will pass through the Great Rift Valley and see some unforgettable scenery.

Day 1:Nairobi-Masai Mara
Depart Nairobi and travel through the Great Rift Valley where you will get magnificent views of the land. After you descend into the rift valley you will travel towards the Masai Mara as villages become fewer, there is often the chance to spot small game on the way to the park. Dinner and overnight at Mara Ngenche Tented Camp

Day 2:Masai Mara National Reserve
Full day spent in the park in search of the Big Five and other game. Meals and overnight at Mara Ngenche Tented Camp

Wherever you go in the Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos also exist in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but are still reasonably common

Day 3:Mara-Nairobi
An early game drive, followed by breakfast then return to Nairobi.
