LOCATION:
At Masai Mara Game Reserve, on the Mara River. The distance from
Nairobi is about 322 Kms (06 hours). Musiara Airstrip is
serviced by daily scheduled flights in the mornings from
Nairobi. Nanyuki and Samburu and in the afternoons from Nairobi.
DESCRIPTION:
Governors' Private Camp, a member of the Governor's Camps, is an
individually tailored mobile safari camp. The camp maintains the
traditional safari atmosphere and comforts. The camp is open
throughout the year. Individual clients can hire governors'
Private Camp, or by small parties, who want the exclusivity of a
private safari camp without the daunting costs normally
associated with this degree of luxury. Governors' Private Camp
must be booked by a minimum of four guests staying for at least
three nights.

Spacious luxurious safari canvas tents, each with private
terrace.

En-suite bucket shower, basin, flush toilet, cold and hot water,
gas & paraffin lamps in tents. 220 Volt plugs at the reception
of Main Governors' Camp.

FOOD & BEVERAGE FACILITIES:
Open bar and restaurant tent with view over the Mara river and
the plains. Meals served outdoors during the day and on
candle-light in the evenings. Bush breakfast & bush dinner can

Children of all ages are catered for.
Room service on request, tea and coffee is served at the rooms
with wake up call.

Rate includes airstrip transfers, accommodation, meals, drinks

3 game drives per day using the camp's 4x4 wheel drive vehicles
(included in price).
Balloon Safari followed by champagne bush breakfast and game
drive back to the camp (separate cost).
Guided game walks with a champagne bush breakfast and afternoon
with sundowners and snacks (included in price).
Cultural visits to a nearby Masai Manyatta (village) and
donations made directly to the local community.
Lake Victoria - day excursion by charter flight. Boat rides and
fishing on Lake Victoria. Excursion with overnight in Mfangano
Island Camp highly recommended (separate cost).
