LOCATION:
At Masai Mara National Reserve, in the centre of the park on the
banks of the Talek River. The distance from Nairobi is about 298
Kms (05 hours). The Ol- Kiombo airstrip is serviced by daily
scheduled flights in the mornings from Nairobi, Nanyuki, Samburu
and in afternoons from Nairobi.
DESCRIPTION:
Situated on a broad, forested bend of the Talek River in the
centre of the Maasai Mara National Reserve at the confluence of
the reserve's four major game-viewing areas, and enjoys prime
views of the spectacular wildebeest migration.

10 luxurious and well-spaced tents.
Room Décor:
Each luxurious tent is specially designed to open up to the sky
and, on one side, an open-air bathtub, and has a private river
frontage with views over the banks of the Talek River frequented
by animals. The "Explorer" tents have been individually
furnished with old wooden chests, tin trunks and historic
prints.
Room amenities:
Giant double/twin beds with hand-carved mahogany furniture,
writing desks, personal closets and luxury individual bathrooms
with all modern amenities, mineral water and insect repellants.

FOOD & BEVERAGE FACILITIES:
An intimate dining area looks out over the river close to the
camp entrance. Meals can also be enjoyed on the private
verandah, or at one of a series of specially selected 'bush
sites' close to camp. The camp bar offers sweeping views over
the river, and a quiet place for reading and swapping safari
tales. Private parties arranged in the "bush".

CLIMATE:
The camp is at an altitude of 5,300 feet above sea level. Warm
during the day and cool at night. Short rains in November and
December and long rains in March, April and May.
